Thanks a lot for giving a hand,
Thanks a lot for making me understand,
I'll keep your advice in the wind mill of my mind,
I'll treasure it till the end of time.

Thanks for spending sometime with me,
Thanks for helping through misery,
Though you know you were busy,
Yet for me , you'd always be free.

You'd smile with me when I was glad,
You'd comfort me when I was sad,
For all those cares that I had,
I thank you mom, I thank you dad.

You've taught me the meaning of life,
You told me not to quit, but to strive,
For all those examples that you've set,
I appreciate it mom, I appreciate it dad.

If I've ever hurt your feelings,
Or if I ever spoiled your day,
Realizing my mistakes I now regret,
I am sorry mom, I am sorry dad.

Bringing me up painstakingly,
Problems you solved patiently,
Intentionally, ever did I make you sad,
I apologize mom, I apologize dad.

We are so far, yet so near,
I love you both, my parents dear,
Contemplating the time we used to have,
I miss you mom, I miss you dad.

I'm not a writer neither am I a poet,
Who can create a poem sad or glad,
But this one's just for you mom and dad,
'Cause I love you mom and you too dad!
